Ocean of thought

Hi Guys! Here are my first lyrics (written on 13/08/07). It is rather like a poem except that it can be sung.And I hope to sing it one day when I'm really good at the Guitar. Oops! I guess I forgot to mention that I'm going for guitar lessons now. Well anyway, enjoy!

Ocean of thought

It's a long and dreary day
My legs seem to move mechanically
Trying to take me far,far away...

The clouds get blacker
Every second that passes away
And I've got nothing to say...

The road in front of me
Forks into two
Which one should I choose?
The one that's false?
The one that's true?

I just can't make up my mind today
I seemed to have shut down my brain again
My ocean of thought, has come to a
stand-still...

Now that it's night-time
There are no screams or shouts
The stars are winking at me from above
so peacefully...

A fast moving car, comes in front of me,
He begins to apply his brakes,
And I stand still, no ideas I can think of
occur to me...

The road in front of me

The one that's true?

This nightmare is getting to my head
It's time to stop, time to end.
My ocean of thought has come to a
stand-still...
